How to replace Toon device with Google Nest?

Hello there!

I have been a happy user of Toon v1 for many years. For Christmas I got a google Nest Thermostat v3.
Have you ever done such a replacement and cant you please help/guide?

First, the Toon gets only 2 wires. I think it is for power and it is 24 volts. I am really not sure if the nest will accept that voltage. According to some reaserch it can work, but I prefer to be sure..

I have no other wires, so i presume it is all wireless...

Remove the Toon but also the Toon ketelmodule (which is sitting near the boiler). This ketelmodule provides 24v to the toon and it connects to the boiler.
Then reconnect the two wires with a wire bridge (kroonsteen) which came out of the ketelmodule in the way that now the boiler is directly connected to the two wires going to your living room where the thermostat should be. The 24v power adapter which powered the ketelmodule is also part of the Toon accesories so remove that also.

From there on, follow the installation for the nest for aan/uit or opentherm connection (depening on your boiler type, but safe to test for opentherm first).
